MAPLE COFFEE CAKE
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 and 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Mix wet ingredients in a bowl. Sift dry ingredients and fold into wet. Pour into a greases tube or bunt pan and sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes. Cake is done when a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
