Colorful Vension Stew

Cook in a large pot over low heat or in a crock pot.

  • 2 lb. venison stew meat cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups stewed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon season salt
  • 1 large onion sliced lenghtwise

After meat has cooked 2 hours add 6 medium potatoes cut into chunks. Cook for an additonal hour. 10 minutes before serving add 2 cups frozen peas. Serves 4 to 6 people.
