Maine Maple Sunday: A blend of honoring an age-old tradition updated with the latest technology, come visit our sugar house on Maine Maple Sunday, always the 4th Sunday in March.

Walk in and smell the sap boiling, enjoy free samples of maple goodies, and watch as Steve turns Maple sap into golden Maple syrup. We plan to be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Take the Blanchard Road in from Monson. Go across the bridge in Blanchard and follow the signs.

Here at Breakneck Ridge Farm we truly appreciate the patriotism folks have shown us over the years. We sure have made a lot of friends in the last 30+ years.

Open Farm Day
We will not be participating in Open Farm Day this year. We as a family are exploring other avenues, and our time is more limited.

Having said that, when you are here at the farm visiting our gift shop, we do enjoy taking time to visit, show our herd of buffalo when they are nearby, and sharing out fantastic view of the Piscataquis River Valley and Russell Mountain.

Gift Shop: We have a gift shop featuring some neat souvenirs, maple Italian dressing, maple syrup in our plastic jugs and etched glass, maple cookbooks, and naturally raised grass-fed American Buffalo (bison) meat.

Season and Hours: The shop is open with set hours in July and August, Wednesday thru Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. someone will be here.

Should you know you are going to be in the area, and want our products, give us a call. If we are home, or can plan to be here, we welcome your business.

A Chance to See the Buffalo: We know that many people love to take a drive out to the farm just to see the buffalo. We don't mind people stopping to look at them, or take pictures.

We also know it is a long ride for some folks and disappointing not to find them within sight.

Therefore we post dates for sighting the buffalo on a sign at the end of our driveway, and on our website home page in the summer months, or you can call ahead at 207-997-3922.

Directions: North from Bangor on Route 15 to Monson, as you come into town, take the sharp left onto the Blanchard Road.
South from Greenville, go through Monson, about 300 feet past the Irving station, go straight onto the Blanchard Road.
Stay on the road for 5 miles. .
